"Hugo," Scorsese's ode to the early days of moviemaking, earned the most nominations with 11 overall, including for him in the director category. Tue, 17 Jan 2012 09:00:13 +0100 LONDON (Reuters) - Silent movie "The Artist" led the BAFTA nominations on Tuesday picking up 12, one ahead of British Cold War-era spy movie "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy" with 11. The nominations for the BAFTAs, Britain's top film honors and the most closely watched movie awards outside the United States, come a week before the Oscar shortlists are unveiled.
